I almost blogged
A few days ago I almost blogged.
I was in my house sitting at the computer reading other peoples blogs and posting comments. I was starting to compose a blog post when I was summoned away by the needs of my family. It was close.
Today the Sheriff was at my house.
That's how much fun I'm having.
Fucking WHEEE!!!
The Sheriff did a little parenting for us.
Oh my gosh! I can't tell you how little that seemed to help.
The kid was scared but that only lasted until the officer was gone.
That's ok though because I had a nice cry during Tai Chi class.
Boy was that ever relaxing...NOT!
My world is getting smaller and it revolves around my son.

Weekend of Romance

Sunny and I are going to have 3 days and 2 nights in Spokane ALONE!!
We have a friend that will stay with the kids and treat them to goodies while we are gone.
Sunny and I will go to movies, shopping, have dinner with Sharon's brother and his wife, drink refreshing beverages, and "you know" stuff like that.
We don't get enough time like this. We don't have a lot of people that can watch the kids and my mom is a little past the "watching the kids" stage.
So, there it is!
I hope that you have all had the opportunity to have someone in your life with whom you can share your love. It is the best thing in my life!

ADHD and me
The boy has ADHD and a girlfriend. School isn't really that important except as a place to see friends and get close to the girlfriend (who has broken up with him at least 5 times) . But, when she is "on" she is very exciting. When she is "off" she must be reacquired. This makes for a boy who is no good for anything in either situation. Especially if it has anything to do with school work. He is either very cocky because he has a girlfriend or very depressed because he doesn't. He has his loveable moments. But, when he's in a bad mood...look out! Tonight he called me a shithead and an idiot. I did not kill him. I didn't even raise my voice. I just told him calmly to go to bed. Later, when he came out to get his pills (that was a surprise) he tried to provoke me with his shocking language. It didn't work. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA !!!! He seems to be in his room watching TV. I wonder if he will have a TV in his room when he comes home from school tomorrow. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA !!!!
Twas brillig and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All mimsy were the borogroves and the mome wraths outgrabe.

Thanks Lewis Carrol! The boy doesn't know what he is up against.

2 weeks later
So, I haven't been bloggin' or readin' any of your blogs.
It's not because I don't love you. I have this new job
and it's been really hard to find a new time to blog.
I have to wake up at 5am and be at work by 6am.
In the evening it's the wrangle the kid show and get to bed by 9(ish).
So, in conclusion, I will try to find a time to
reveal my most intimate thoughts to you
without being too graphic, of course. (unless you would like that)
I am liking my new job. Getting off of work
at 2pm will be really cool in the summer.
Please plan on having a get together with Sunny and me this year.
We are going to be entertaining. You are invited.

The Ladder and I Fell Together

Today, after finishing the snow shoveling on the roof, I stepped down onto the ladder and took one more step down before the ladder slipped away from it's footing. The ladder and I fell onto the front steps. The ladder then slid forward and hit my son in the leg and arm. I felt my foot twisting as it was caught in between two rungs. When I stood up I had to test my foot and leg to see if I could stand on it. The boy has bruises and scratches. I have a pretty good gash in my left shin plus some bruises and scratches of my own. Nothing was broken! Whew! I think I may have torn a ligament or tendon in my left ankle. It's not completely torn but it hurts when I step in certain directions or turn on that foot.
I anticipate some aches and pains over the next few days. I still have to work the next two days. I hope my aches and pains don't keep me from being able to learn, help and keep up.
Please send me your home remedy's for healing and I will consider them for my recovery process.
Thanks,
Greenmoss

Return of Light
Today we celebrate the return of light. The days are getting longer. We acknowledge Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza and Festivus but celebrate the return of longer days.
This is the season when we plan for the upcoming year and as the year unfolds we can fulfill the dreams of the long winter nights.
As we share the long hours with our loved ones, friends and community members inside the warmth of our homes and meeting places we learn what is important to each other and how our lives are intertwined. We can share food, laughter, song, gifts, joy and love.
Thank you all for being in my life!!
